While the vessel is intended to be aluminum construction for a balance between cost, performance and the ease of customization, production could be accommodated in steel or composite. Designed with a full displacement hull, top speed is expected at 11-12 knots. A traditional twin screw with twin diesel 1200 hp engines, Marquesas could be engineered as semi-planing increased horsepower and fuel requirements. This layout can definitely be modified to accommodate a diesel-electric hybrid setup, losing some area in the lazarette space for the electric propulsion engines and battery packages.With tremendous volume for entertaining and family living, inside and on deck, generous saloon windows provide picturesque, panoramic views but also safely immerse the passenger with the sea amid a natural, understated interior.
