BMD completed refit engineering on these harbor tugs for Van Enkevort Tug & Barge, with construction support on newly launched Barge Michigan Trader.
TUG LAURA L. VAN ENKEVORT is a 124’ x 37’ x 18’ ATB tug with a Bludworth connection. Her refit engineering added accommodations and raised her upper pilothouse for visibility, with overhauling the engines and gears, new joinery work for the interior, etc. TUG DIRK VAN ENKEVORT's upper pilothouse was raised, with new tug accommodations and steering system, and bow reshaped to fit the new barge.
